• To participate in Lending Hands Foundation’s events (the “Service”), provide limited information so that the Foundation and community groups can contact you.
• You can opt in or out of receiving communications from Lending Hands Foundation at registration or through your Account Profile for volunteering and non-volunteering opportunities/activities.
• We will not share your personal information (e.g., name, contact information, volunteer information) with non-authorized users (e.g., non-profit organizations) unless you request otherwise.

What Information Do We Collect?

• When you use the Service, we may place “cookies” on your computer to facilitate and maintain your current session, and we may collect Personal Data using those cookies to allow Lending Hands Foundation to identify you in connection with the Service and track your use of the Service in accordance with this policy.
• We do not collect or keep personal data from anyone under 13 years old. If we find out a user is under 13, we will delete their data and stop them from using our site or service. Protecting children’s privacy is a top priority for us.

• We use Authorized Users’ Personal Data to deliver services, recruit volunteers, conduct searches for potential volunteers and communicate for upcoming events or opportunities.
• We also consider both Personal Data and Non-Personal Data when determining how to improve the Site and Service. As detailed below, we may release collected information, including Personal Data, to third parties in connection with the Service or as required by law.
• We will not use or disclose gathered information in ways that are materially different from those mentioned in this policy, unless required by law.
• Lending Hands Foundation also uses information gathered through the Site and Service to send promotional messages for volunteering.

Your Options: Opting- in Or Out of Optional Communications

• At Lending Hands Foundation, we respect your privacy. You can choose how we use or share your information. Each user has an Account Profile where they can opt out of receiving volunteer information from us or opt in to getting communications from our partners. You can set these preferences when you register or update them anytime in the “My Profile” section.
• Our site may link to other websites with different privacy policies. Lending Hands Foundation isn’t responsible for how those sites handle your information. Please review their privacy policies before sharing your details.

Accessing Your Personal Data

• Each Authorized User chooses a unique username and password that grants him, her, or it access to the Service. We monitor usernames and passwords to record transactions by Authorized Users. These data are linked to each Authorized User’s “Account Profile” in the Service.
• Authorized Users can access their Account Profiles at any time and change the Personal Data contained therein. Changes in information will be reflected in subsequent uses or disclosures. Certain information is required for Lending Hands Foundation to deliver the Service; thus, if you delete this information, you will be unable to utilize the Service.

Commitment to Data Security

• The Site employs security measures to prevent the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of Personal Data. We do our utmost to ensure that all sensitive information given by Authorized Users is encrypted using industry standard encryption techniques.
• Furthermore, access to Personal Data is confined to iVolunteer’s own offices and facilities. As a result, Lending Hands Foundation staff have access to your Personal Data as needed to accomplish specific responsibilities and tasks (such as providing customer service).
• Please be advised that, while we strive to provide acceptable protection for information in our possession and control, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. Furthermore, Authorized Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Service passwords. Changes in this Policy

We will announce any modifications to our privacy policy on the Site to ensure users understand what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we may release it.
